Any excuse to wear glitter and sparkles on my face and/or body I’ll take it. New Year’s seems like a better excuse than any. I’m also wanting to use my Charlotte Tilbury Vintage Vamp palette at every opportunity, so I decided to create a New Year’s Eve makeup tutorial with all four beautiful shades.
I’m really into listening to podcasts when I go to bed. Sometimes it’s nice to drift off to a talk on economics or an interview with an acclaimed author. Recently, I’ve been really enjoying TED talks; there’s a great variety of talks and lectures on different topics as well as some comedic presentations and life coaching seminars. A few nights ago, I came across a podcast called ‘What I learned from 100 days of rejection’ by Jia Jiang. Immediately I was hooked.
Somehow it’s only one week until the big day. How we’ve managed to reach this point and get though all of 2016’s shit I don’t know. But one way or another, Christmas day is almost upon us. If you’ve left your shopping to the last minute, you might be panicking and wondering where on earth to start. But fear not! Being the helpful Christmas elf that I am, I’ve compiled a gift guide for all you last minuters.
It’s been a hot minute since I posted a review (or any blog post for that matter…). I’ve mentioned before that I’m constantly trying out new beauty products, so I wanted to share a review of a skin care item I’ve been using lately. La Roche Posay is one of my favourite skin care brands. Their products lie somewhere between high-end and drugstore price range so I don’t feel completely guilty when I buy something, but I know I’m usually getting a good product. The Hydraphase Intense Legere is a hydrating moisturiser for normal/combination skin. It also claims to be suitable for those with sensitive skin.
