There are some trends you look back on and think, what in God’s name were we doing? All-over crimped hair is definitely up on that list for me, and up until recently so were coloured lens sunglasses. Pushed way down to the bottom of my imaginary dress-up box of trends of yesteryear, I didn’t expect to see the day I’d be lusting after a pair of purple gradient lens sunglasses again come around anytime soon. 2017, however, had other plans.
When I was younger, I always wanted to be an actress. Is Marks & Spencer getting more stylish, or am I just getting older?
I find myself asking this question more often recently as every time I browse their website or go in store I find something I really like. This is meant as no disrespect either, I think my hight-street horizons are just broadening and as I look for better quality pieces I’m exploring shops I wouldn’t usually look in.
So I decided to put together a list of my favourite coats and jackets from their current A/W16 range. From sophisticated and classic trenches to bold prints and fake furs, I’m not even sure where to start. Suffice to say this is the reason the cold months are the best.
